Purpose of Role
The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager will take direct administrative responsibility for a portfolio of trusts, companies and other wealth structures ensuring that timely delivery and first class service is provided to beneficiaries/clients and intermediaries. The role holder will work with the support of a Trust Officer to identify and mitigate risk across their span of control and will be responsible for supporting their team mates within the office.
Key Accountabilities
Intermediaries/Client:
The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager will ensure that they deliver high quality service to all intermediaries/clients, working with our Trust Officers and Trust Directors and intermediaries to ensure longevity of relationships. They will interact directly with their intermediaries/clients, conduct trust reviews with their clients regularly and support the Trust Directors in delivering upon opportunities to drive up levels of client service including supporting the Trust Directors. The role holder will ensure they deliver on client commitments to agreed deadlines and to a high standard.
Commercial:
The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager will achieve personal targets as set out for their role for time recording, utilisation and working capital management. They will support the Trust Directors in understanding and acting upon the profitability of their client book through reviewing WIP and ensuring prompt collection of debt.
Risk:
The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager will take action to ensure agreed business risk targets are met. The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager will use technical capability to understand and mitigate risk within their client book with the support of their line management and Trust Directors, escalating where necessary and required in accordance with policies.
Knowledge and Experience
Professional and Technical Experience:
The successful applicant is expected to have at least 4 years of experience handling trust administration work within the fiduciary field and will demonstrate good client service delivering against the needs and demands of high net worth clients. They will demonstrate a good understanding of the technical principles of day to day fiduciary administration. The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager is expected to have a good understanding of current issues affecting fiduciary structures and the clients for whom we act.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:
The Senior Trust Administrator / Client manager is expected to hold a Degree in Finance, Accountancy (or equivalent) from a recognized university and a relevant professional qualification (such as STEP or ICSA).
