Quality Engineer - PVC

Responsibilities:

• Design (or provide guidelines) for pertinent characterization and/or qualification test plans or studies:
• Manage test execution, analyze / interpret results.
• Provide recommendations for further development or for production release / introduction.
• Formalize related internal and external (toward customers) reports and presentations
• Lead or contribute to Failure Analysis and Corrective actions definition in case of defects during Development or Production.
• Develop / optimize test capabilities according to evolving requirements of products / processes.
• Knowledge management – Expertise sharing.
• Support and ensure timely completion of qualification and failure analysis activities.
• Maintain and establish the Lab quality documentation system and lab activities database.
• Support any other special projects as specified, as and when.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering/Quality Engineering/Chemistry/Materials Science.
• At least 2 years of working experience in test laboratory or manufacturing quality assurance environment. Experience in smart card manufacturing will be added advantage.
• Handling both internal and external customer request, with high interpersonal skills which permit successful management of all test and analysis requests. Independent, approachable and analytical
• Work well in highly pressurizing environment
• Analytical and Methodological skills. Rigor, integrity, independence and intellectual curiosity.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates great maturity and holds a very high degree of integrity, confidentiality and discretion. And also with the ability to liaison and communicate with all levels of people.
