We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Functional Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in contributing to various projects and initiatives, from the initial stages of requirements gathering to post-live verification. This role demands strong hands-on experience with data querying, handling data schemas, and working within the consumer/retail credit domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to project initiatives, including requirements gathering, reviewing functional specifications, user acceptance testing, and live verification.
- Perform data querying (SQL and other tools) and work with data schemas and data wrangling.
- Be a subject matter expert in the consumer/retail credit domain.
- Review requirements to ensure alignment with design principles and data architecture.
- Evaluate existing Business-As-Usual (BAU) processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., credit risk analysts) to understand data and dashboarding needs and work with technical teams (data factory/READ teams) to deliver solutions.
- Attend scrum meetings and user story grooming sessions to ensure enhancements meet business requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Review solution proposals from technical teams and provide constructive feedback or counter-proposals.
- Work with systems like LEAPS ORIGINS (secured lending), Finacle (account maintenance), and VisionPlus (unsecured lending and cards).
- Familiarity with collection management systems like Debt Manager and Aspect/Cisco auto dialers.
- Leverage knowledge of Collibra for data discovery and tracing lineage between tables in ADA/DL data warehouses.
- Participate in various workshops for business unit initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and other data querying tools.
- In-depth knowledge of data schemas, wrangling, and querying.
- Expertise in the consumer/retail credit domain is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with credit loan systems and customer systems for secured and unsecured lending.
- Experience working with collection management systems and auto-dialer technologies.
- Good understanding of Collibra for data lineage tracking.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and propose effective business solutions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
