Job Description:
- Provide support and maintain the stability of POS systems, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Perform 1st-level troubleshooting for IT hardware and operational systems.
- Ensure the effectiveness of security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Maintain and upgrade network infrastructure as necessary.
- Offer guidance and advice to colleagues on best practices for systems and technology usage.
- Monitor and execute patch management activities.
- Assist in planning and implementing new systems and technologies to meet future business requirements.
- Manage relationships with key vendors and partners to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Collaborate with vendors, project leads, and users to resolve issues and ensure consistent, viable solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, purchases, and leases.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- Basic knowledge of networking (L1).
- Experience with firewalls is a plus.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
