SALES MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager will lead and oversee the sales operations within the marine coatings sector, driving business growth through strategic planning, market expansion, and strong customer relationships. This role involves managing a sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the company’s marine paint products meet the needs of shipyards, vessel owners, and maritime industries. The Sales Manager will work closely with both internal teams and external clients to achieve revenue targets while providing expert guidance on product selection and application.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and manage the sales team.
· Design and implement sales plans to achieve business targets in the marine paint sector, focusing on revenue growth and market share expansion.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including shipyards, vessel owners, boat manufacturers, and other marine industry stakeholders.
· Address client inquiries, provide technical advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
· Offer in-depth product knowledge on marine coatings, including anti-fouling, corrosion protection, and specialized paints.
· Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favourable terms while maintaining profitability.
· Close high-value deals with long-term agreements that benefit both the company and the customer.
· Represent the company at marine industry trade shows, conferences, and exhibitions, promoting the company’s products and expanding the client network.
· Attend and do reporting during the sales meeting with Japan HQ team.
· Ad-hoc technical duties as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (i.e. Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering)
· Ability to explain the technical analysis to customers in English and/or Japanese
· Have knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Previous related experiences background will be a bonus

Work Timings: 8AM – 5PM (Mondays – Fridays)
Transport: Pick-up points island-wide
Salary: SGD9,000 – SGD10,000 (Negotiable)
