As Assistant Director of the Joint Office of Academic Medicine (JOAM), you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and development of initiatives and programmes for SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre. This position involves extensive collaboration with stakeholders in SingHealth, Duke-NUS and Duke Health, requiring you to oversee performance management by establishing, refining, and monitoring appropriate performance metrics. These metrics, such as the Balanced Scorecard framework and Impact Assessment framework, will be applied to Academic Clinical Programmes and Academic Medicine (AM)-related programmes and initiatives to ensure that the goals of Academic Medicine are met.
Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating the annual work plan reporting across various AM-related departments. Additionally, you will be tasked with planning and organising strategic platforms, including international advisory council meetings and senior leaders forums, to facilitate robust and effective conversations that advance AM.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably with background in accounting or finance or strategic/corporate planning with at least 12 years of relevant experience
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills
- Analytical and adept at coordination work
- Good team player and ability to engage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
