We seek an experienced and strategic Chief of Staff to join our team in Singapore. This pivotal role involves working closely with our CEO and leadership team to drive critical initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and support company-wide alignment. You will be a trusted partner to the CEO, playing a key role in scaling our startup and ensuring effective communication across departments.
What you will be doing:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Collaborate with the CEO to shape and execute the company’s strategic direction.
- Drive and oversee key initiatives, ensuring seamless implementation across teams.
- Define, monitor, and report on key business metrics to track progress toward goals.
Operational Efficiency:
- Lead cross-functional projects aimed at improving processes and optimizing scalability.
- Identify operational gaps and drive solutions that enhance business performance.
- Ensure all teams are adequately resourced to meet strategic goals.
Communication & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison between the CEO and internal teams, investors, and external partners.
- Prepare executive-level communications, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, setting agendas, tracking follow-up actions, and ensuring alignment on priorities.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with department heads to ensure cross-functional alignment on company objectives.
- Mentor and support emerging leaders within the organization.
- Provide guidance to teams on prioritization and execution of key initiatives.
Special Projects:
- Lead high-impact projects that contribute to company growth.
- Take on varied responsibilities to address evolving business needs.
What you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field from a reputable university; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff or similar strategic role, ideally within a startup or high-growth environment.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic settings, with a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to strategically prioritize tasks and manage complex, cross-functional projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; able to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across teams.
- Experience in managing internal and external communications, with a knack for crafting clear and compelling presentations and reports for C-suite and investors.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data, evaluate metrics, and provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.
- Proven experience in process optimization and driving operational efficiencies, particularly in scaling a startup or high-growth company.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience mentoring and developing future leaders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver results independently with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment.
- Familiarity with startup challenges and the resilience to navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and limited resources while maintaining focus on key objectives.
- Experience working in cross-cultural or international environments is a plus, especially in aligning teams across different geographies.
