Job Summary:
To provide service support in areas of installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of the Company’s life science and biomedical equipment install base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide and carry out first level/in-house/on-site/after-sales service/technical support, including installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of the full range of the Company's instrument and equipment portfolio.
- Studies blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures and installs equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Interprets maintenance or operating manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge in engineering and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
- Responds to customer requests and needs for ad-hoc/ emergency service. Determines root cause(s), troubleshooting and takes corrective action to restore system in an efficient manner.
- Adhere, maintain, comply a safe and healthy safe work environment. Enforce, follow and comply with operating manual/SOP/procedures during maintenance work, servicing and troubleshooting.
- Manage customer expectations on a regular basis before and after various interactions to meet customer's satisfaction and requirements.
- Document and record all service/maintenance activities.
Education & Experience:
Senior executive with NITEC/ITE/Diploma/Degree in Electronic, Electrical or equivalent Engineering. Field servicing experience in life sciences, biomedical or clinical industry is strongly advantageous.

- Willing to travel overseas for work assignment or training when required/upon request.
