Lead IT Business Analyst

Position Purpose

• IT Business Analyst Lead/Manager, to manage the Functional Delivery of Supply chain financing systems (eBanking and BackOffice) globally.

• As Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain Financing domain to deliver efficient and innovative solutions for global IT platform stability, business growth and operational efficiency.

• To work with Product Managers, Operations, Finance, Client Implementation, and other IT systems (Internal) and external (Vendor) stakeholders from all the regions (APAC/EMEA/AMER) on the requirements gathering and to deliver end to end impact analysis and functional solutions for the platform enhancements as well as for production issues.

• To efficiently manage and mentor large team of Business Analyst and Testers located across different locations to achieve project deliverables within strict target timelines.

Direct Responsibilities

• Ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined:

-By performing systematic business analysis

-By validating business requirements to align with business/operations needs as well as IT architecture and security standards.

-By designing functional solutions & user workflows and documenting Functional Specifications.

-By conducting walkthrough sessions on requirement and proposed solutions to all stakeholders and get it reviewed and signoff.

• Ensure the Functional solution provided for all the business requirements are the best possible in terms of bank standards, user experience, easy to maintain/enrich in future and scalable.

• Ensure to follow up all the projects in the IT roadmap set by management are as per the schedule and assess risk/issues to highlight to management timely. And propose the possible solution options to address such situations.

• Ensure the Functional delivery team’s deliverables (Business Requirements, Functional solution, SIT/NRT test scenarios/ test cases, release notes, user guides etc.) are always as per the bank and industry standards.

• Ensure the business analysts and the testers always follow the guidelines while performing the below tasks responsible by functional delivery team:

-To develop SIT/UAT/NRT scope and approach.

-To guide testing team in writing test scenarios/cases and review to get signoff from stakeholders.

-To rationalize test cases when needed to match with available team bandwidth and target timeline.

-To validate SIT test results produced by testing team to signoff.

-To assist users in planning/executing UAT, analyzing defects, and defining defects priority for fix delivery by development team.

-Documenting/reviewing user manuals and release notes.

- Assist in providing tactical/strategic solutions for new client requirements

-Assist in the conversion/migration exercise where necessary.

-For production defects, perform functional analysis and propose solutions.

-Ensure Bank compliance policies and CIB ITO APAC standards/practices are strictly followed.

• To review the custom solutions proposed to the existing clients / to onboard new clients and ensure the solution provided are the best possible for the given scenario adhering to the IT architecture standards. For the gaps that requires system enhancements, propose to the Business stakeholders to plan for the system enhancements.

• To regularly review the problem tickets with production support(L3) to provide functional solution and ensure the solutions provided does not impact the existing functions.


Contributing Responsibilities

• To participate in technical design reviews and contribute to improve overall solution offered.

• To proactively initiate or involve in continuous functional quality improvement initiatives.

• To share expertise by providing training and knowledge sharing sessions to improve capabilities of Functional delivery team and the other supply chain finance team.

• To manage the training needs to the stakeholders on the existing system functionalities as required.

• Assist the management team in the preparation for key meetings and steering committees.

• To review the NAC & TAC proposals from business to provide the feedback from IT & Operations perspective.


Technical & Behavioral Competencies
• Strong Leadership, strategic thinking, functional & business analysis skills with ability to communicate
and bridge between business/operations, IT, and other stakeholders that are cross cultural and cross
country.
• Familiar with standard formats such as XML, SWIFT, EDIFACT, ISO20022 & data transformations.
• Hands on database SQL knowledge and application performance tuning concepts.
• Strong experience in functional solutions design for large web applications and micro services, Wellversed with integrations and APIs, REST. Designing functional solutions for high volume, low latency,
and high-availability and performance requirements of web applications.
• Deep knowledge of B2C & B2B payment flows, country specific clearing standards, industry standard
message formats (MT/MX/ISO).
• Deep knowledge on loan booking process, treasury funding, Repayment/Settlement process, and
accounting standards.
• Good understanding and knowledge of key security subjects (SSL/TLS, PKI, Certificates) and user
authentication solutions.
• Good team player with great commitment and attitude as well as ability to work independently.
