Position: Network Engineer (Broadcasting)
Salary: $8,000 - $9,500 + 15 Days AL + Bonus
Working Days: 5 Days, 9am-6pm
Working Location: Changi South
Responsibilities:
This role will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex broadcast and IT systems in a live television or broadcast environment.
- Design and implement broadcast network and IT systems, including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and storage solutions.
- Manage and maintain network and IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to broadcast and IT systems.
- Work with vendors to evaluate and select new technologies and equipment.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to network and IT systems.
- Provide technical training and support to staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering in a broadcast environment.
- Extensive knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, UDP, RTP, and SMPTE 2022.
- Expertise in managing and maintaining Cisco network equipment, including routers and switches.
- Experience with broadcast technologies, including SDI, AES, and MADI.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V
