Job Responsibilities
- Maintain balance sheet, P&L sheets
- Update the MIS on daily basis
- Responsible for cash flow, bank reconciliations
- Prepare and generate related invoices and credit notes timely
- Monitor and collect accounts receivable and payments and maintain billing system
- Appreciate, understand, and execute the entire chain of account end to end (i.e. from shippers invoicing/payment to customer invoicing/payments till Audit)
- Liaise with insurance agencies for marine/cargo insurance.
- Establish relationship with overseas team members / Bankers & traders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Accounts / Maritime / International Business or International Trade
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity
- Accounting knowledge in maritime industry preferred
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with ability to work independently and well-organised
- An eye for detail, an inquisitive mind & a flexible approach
