Job Description:
- Preferably 1-2 years of work experience in Supply Chain
- Forecast, Planning and Procurement:
o To forecast, plan, coordinate and procure trade & finished goods. Liaise with suppliers to meet the inventory requirements for regular and ad-hoc orders
o Identify and quote alternative sources in an out-of-stock situation
o Prepare and update monthly demand report for tender items
o Coordinate with principals/suppliers for production schedule and delivery
o Ensure suppliers comply with company’s requirements for quality control
o Provide delivery confirmations and updates to Customer Services team, provide logistics support for oncoming/outgoing materials.
o Manage our outbound and inbound logistic providers
o Costing control on cost of goods as well as transportation costs
- Risk Management
o Lias with supplier to gather information and feedback on broken/damaged shipments
o Balance risks when quoting indent products
- Stock Handling & Control
o Monitor & control the flow for overall stock movement (Incoming/Outgoing) to ensure effective inventory management
o Maintain effective inventory management system to maintain an optimum stock level to reduce wastage and write-off.
o Assist warehouse assistant in space planning to optimize warehouse capacity, and as a back-up for picking and packing items when warehouse assistant is on leave
Pre-requisites:
- Min Diploma or Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain will be advantageous
- Proactive and independent
- Good interpersonal relationship, communication skill
