Established in 2013, our client specialises in the conceptualisation, design, planning and execution of experiential events and activities, such as conferences, creative insights production and digital broadcasts.
They are currently looking for an Account Director, who will be responsible for the leadership, strategic oversight, growth, retention, and profitability of both new and existing client accounts.
This role requires a deep understanding of client needs, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive business outcomes that aligns with the client's goals.
Role: Account Director (Events)
Location: Singapore
Salary: S$7,500 - S$9,000 per month (subject to experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, ensuring successful pitches and conversion
- Build, maintain and strengthen strong client relationships
- Direct and oversee the development of client proposals
- Ensure that creative concepts, budgets, timeliness and deliverables are met
- Present strategic solutions to senior-level clients across a range of industries
- Facilitate and conduct regular meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Lead budget planning, financial tracking, reconciliation and ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Manage sales pipeline, revenue forecast
Qualifications
- 6 years in a leadership position within the Meetings, Incentive Travel, Conferences & Exhibitions Industry
- Expertise in managing high-level client accounts and new business development
- Good understanding of Marketing and Events within the broader business strategy
- Team leadership, project management, mentorship and interpersonal skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Adept at driving collaboration and efficiency within teams, and ensuring seamless project execution
