The candidate shall be responsible for the following:
- Definition of policies, rules procedures, methods in the field of quality assurance and inspection for all work performed on the aircraft and related equipment in conformity with JCAB regulations for Japan registered aircrafts.
- Monitoring of the correct application of these policies, procedures and methods
- Carry out leading role in dealing with all quality aspects with JCAB and Quality Assurance of Japanese Airlines
- Coordinate and conduct training and development for Quality Engineers as necessary to meet airworthiness authority’s requirement
- Assist to develop technical support and capabilities of the Engineers to meet airline and JCAB requirements
- Assist in new aircraft capabilities set up
- Participate in identifying and implementing continuous work improvements
- Carry out any other duties and tasks as directed by General Manager
Requirements:
- Possess a degree in Aerospace/ Mechanical engineering and/ or any other relevant qualifications
- More than 15 years in the Aviation Industry with knowledge in NADCAP and Quality Assurance
- High proficiency in Japanese language to liaise with Japanese speaking customers
