Responsibilities:
§ New materials and process development using metal injection molding(MIM), ceramic injection molding(CIM), and Powder Metallurgy processes.
§ Scope out project needs, design experiments using standard experimental design techniques, and use advanced material characterization and data analysis techniques.
§ Support Product Management and process engineering related to scale-up and production of new materials and products.
§ Troubleshoot thermal process problems, optimize process parameters and improve process control systems.
§ Interact with product engineering, quality assurance, and production functions to drive product yield and quality improvement.
§ Document all trial and validation activities and set up process SOP.
Requirements:
§ Degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or other related Engineering fields.
§ Min 3 years’ experience in Material R&D, process development/yield improvement.
§ A comprehensive knowledge of materials properties, processing, characterization techniques, and equipment is preferred.
§ Knowledge of MIM/CIM, powder Metallurgy, and Six Sigma is preferred.
