Roles and Responsibilities
- Setup, operate and maintain of Gas Nitride, Atmosphere and Vacuum Hardening processes.
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks.
- Enter all information on quality documents accurately and timely.
- Maintaining active certified machinist status.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Adhere to EH&S & CORE requirements in the work place.
- Work in an orderly fashion keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used.
- Perform daily housekeeping and sustain 5S implementations.
- Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
- Notify the Supervisor of any furnace/machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
Qualification and Education Requirements
- Minimum NITEC qualification in Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing plant, preferably Heat Treat process.
- Work experience in heat treatment work environment is preferred but not necessary.
- Basic command of written and spoken English.
- Physically and mentally fit & willing to perform rotating shifts.
- Able to tolerate high temperature work environment.
