Join IntelliStream Research Group as Project Officer at School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE), NTU, a dynamic team within the Parallel and Distributed Computing Lab, linked to the DANTE group. Our focus: system research in Machine Learning and Database interactions.

This six-month position, with potential renewal, involves developing a scalable, accurate Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) framework, data collection, coding datasets, developing deployable prototypes, and authoring high-quality research papers. Additional duties include student guidance, meeting participation, and other relevant research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for designing and developing new RAG framework which is more scalable and more accurate.
  • Assistants for data collection and manual coding of the datasets.
  • Responsible for developing deployable prototype systems based on research results.
  • Responsible for writing research papers of high quality based on research results.
  • To provide guidance and support to any students associated with the project.
  • To attend, contribute, and where necessary lead relevant meetings.
  • To undertake any other duties relevant to the programme of research.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • Must have a strong background in machine learning and database systems
  • Familiarity with major deep learning libraries (e.g., Pytorch, TensorFlow), and proficiency in C, C++, Python, and English.
  • The ideal candidate works independently and collaboratively, adapts to flexible hours, and reports to a senior team member
  • Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability and willingness to work some flexible hours
