JOB PURPOSE:
Assist with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment as assigned to maintain and upkeep the general condition of hotel.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Responsible for maintaining the physical structure and surroundings of the hotel.
2. Participate in the preventive maintenance program, handling guest requests etc.
3. Perform interior and exterior property maintenance, such as carpentry work & repair, painting and all other work orders as assigned to maintain the facility and property.
4. Complete maintenance request in a timely manner (e.g., change out light bulbs, touch up paint, minor furniture repair, plumbing, HVAC works etc.)
5. Perform routine maintenance on common breakdowns.
6. To maintain flexibility to perform other duties and projects as required and deemed necessary to support the Hotel’s overall business objectives.
KNOWLEDGE / QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience of 2 to 3 years in a related position.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
SKILLS:
1. Related repairing and maintenance skills.
2. Ability to handle power tools and some maintenance related machinery.
