My client is a Singapore-based offshore and marine engineering firm specializes in designing, building, and maintaining complex oil and gas, and renewable energy infrastructure, including FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) vessels, offshore platforms, and subsea systems. Your New Role
Join my client's team as a Lead Process Engineer, playing a critical leadership role in delivering complex offshore and marine engineering projects. You will:
- Lead a team of process engineers to design, develop, and implement process solutions for FPSO (Floating Production, Storage, and Offloading) and offshore platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve multi-discipline site issues
- Oversee process-related construction engineering, site checks, and documentation updates
- Conduct technical reviews of P&ID, HAZOP, SIL, and 3D models
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications
- Drive engineering progress, monitoring and reporting on project milestones
- Support procurement, construction, and commissioning teams during project execution
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in offshore/marine industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent technical knowledge of process design, piping, instrumentation, and safety
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., ASPEN Plus, HYSYS, SmartPlant)
- Experience with FEED, detailed engineering, and project execution
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Professional certifications (PE, CEng) preferred
