Job Summary:
The primary role of the L2 Support role is to deliver effective application support on the Boomi platform and other application platforms. This role aims to enhance customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution, minimizing escalations to L3, managing production data migrations, and overseeing production database management.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operations management, ensuring that applications run optimally and are accessible when needed.
- Swiftly addressing and resolving incidents to maintain service continuity, identify and analyze recurring issues, implementing solutions to prevent future incidents.
- Coordinating and implementing changes to the application environment with minimal disruption.
- Efficiently handle and fulfil service requests from users.
- Coordinate the rollout of application updates and new features for release and deployment management.
- Monitor and manage application capacity to ensure both performance and scalability.
- Creating and maintaining documentation that facilitates knowledge sharing within the team.
- Focus on continual service improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance services and implementing necessary changes.
- Manage application utilities to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems
- Candidates with experience in an IT or consulting firm, particularly those who have worked on projects within the banking industry are highly preferred.
- Only 3 to 6 years of working experience in Application Support or L2 support.
- Prior experience in application development, maintenance, support and deployment will be advantageous.
- Must have working experience in Boomi Platform especially Boomi Integrations
- Experience in database like Oracle, MySQL server, Postgres and database query scripting (SQL)
- Good knowledge in Agile methodologies and AWS suite of services
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication with emphasis on technical writing skills
