Responsibilities:
- Implement workplace health, safety and environmental programs & safety initiatives
- Conduct safety training programs and inspections to ensure staff and subcontractors abide policies and standards
- Establish and maintain effectiveness HSE management systems for all the workplaces, projects and facilities based on Local legislation and regulation, and or clients requirements
- Standardization of company safety policies among sites.
- Implementation of effective safety management system, preventive measures as well as risk assessment to minimize accidents at work places
- Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits
- Liaise with MOM on all safety issues
- Investigate accidents, put up reports and recommend remedial actions.
- Any ad hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
Requirements:
- MOM registered WSH Officer and NEA registered ECO
- Minimum 5years of relevant experience in construction industry
- Able to interpret WSH, NEA & LTA laws proficiently
- Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines
- A team player who is hands on and meticulous in his work
- Certificate in QEHS Internal Auditing (ISO9001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001)
