This advertisement is for the recruiting two (2) part time positions of Receptionists.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Holland Grove.
Contract Period: From 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Option to Extend: for a further period of 01 Jan 2026 to 31 Dec 2026.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays (5 hours per shift):
- Receptionist 1 from 7.00am -12.00pm,
- Receptionist 2 from 11.00am - 4.00pm.
- Service not required during school holidays (March, May/June, September, November/December) and on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:
- Concierge service, manage telephone calls, walk in queries from students and parents.
- Attend to the needs of students, e.g., apply simple first aid dressings.
- Distribute incoming/outgoing mail.
- Assist in disseminating circulars, documents, items to teachers and staff.
- Assist with daily office operations such as checking on deliveries, distributing food supplies to needy students in school, liaising with teachers on parents’ queries, following up on student absenteeism and other simple administration tasks such as photocopying and laminating.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Qualification:
- Minimum GCE “N” level.
Skills:
- Able to multitask and work independently. Possess good communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service and/or administration work.
The Personnels should preferably:
- have First-Aid certification; and
- possess basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, email system and internet).
Personnel(s) with prior working experience in schools would be an added advantage.
