Job Description:
- Handling full procurement functions including liaising with sales and suppliers on requirements, evaluation, negotiation and awards.
- Conducting sourcing event including RFP/tender.
- Developing alternative suppliers and coordinate their qualification and approval.
- Managing vendors to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.
- Working with Sales and Supply Chain Team on supply / delivery matters for contract.
- Following up with sales team on projects status and feedback to supplier.
- Engaging and coordinating with suppliers for regulatory documentation support for sales team.
- Other ad hoc assignment by Superior.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Procurement / Supply Chain / Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in Food and Beverage/Food Ingredient/Chemical Trading industry.
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations will have a distinct advantage.
- Proficient in Chinese language proficiency to liaise with Chinese vendors.
- Experience working in a diverse culture environment will have a distinct advantage.
- Able to work independently under minimal supervision, motivated, proactive and a team player.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and had worked in fast-paced environment will have a distinct advantage.
Compensation:
- Working location: Science Park II, Singapore
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 5PM
- Transport allowance and/or reimbursable
