This advertisement is for the recruiting position of ICT Trainer.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Admiralty Link.
Contract Period: From 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025
Option to Extend: for a further period of 12 months (excluding 2 months of school holidays)
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7:30am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1 hr lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:
- The ICT Trainer shall work closely with the Head of Department (HOD) for ICT to design and implement an ICT training programme for Primary 1 to Primary 6 pupils, aligned with the MOE Revised Baseline ICT Standards. Please submit a sample ICT plan and/or lesson plan from previous school engagements. Experience with the Student Learning Space (SLS) will be considered an advantage.
- Collaborate with HODs from various departments and subject-level representatives to manage the ICT Training Programme and training schedules.
- Assist in other ICT-related tasks, including facilitating and preparing students for ICT competitions during non-coaching hours.
- Develop teaching content and resources during non-coaching hours to enhance the learning experience.
- Assist in refreshing and updating the school’s website content. Basic to intermediate HTML knowledge will be considered an added advantage.
- Plan and conduct simple coding lessons for Primary 3 to Primary 6 students in the ICT Club, incorporating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills. The final projects will be featured on the school website and integrated into school activities.
- Assist the school in designing and creating digital media, such as graphic posters and videos, for school events during non-coaching hours. Please submit samples of personal digital art for reference.
- Manage photography and videography for school events and classroom observations. Proficiency in photo/video editing software and experience handling photography equipment is required.
The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in conducting similar ICT-related programmes in Singapore Primary Schools.
- Diploma in Infocomm and Technology, MultiMedia, Graphic Design, or a related programme.
- Must be MOE-registered.
The Personnel should also preferably have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in Google Suite apps for Education.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Proficient in photography and videography, with prior experience in Photography or Video competitions being advantageous.
- Proficiency in video and graphic editing software, with experience in graphic design being preferred.
- Proficiency in Isomer for website publication.
- Familiarity with Baseline ICT Skills and Digital Literacy, and the ability to plan and design ICT lessons incorporating SEL skills in students.
- Proficiency in simple coding.
