We are currently looking for a Custody Manager to join our custody team. The role is based in Singapore. We offer attractive remuneration with commission and the opportunity to join a high-performance team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and in ensuring timely and accurate processing of trading/settlement, funds handling, reconciliation, corporate action events/dividend payments
  • Close monitoring of client subscriptions, redemptions and fund action timelines
  • Liaise with external trustee, issuers and investors on operational queries and corporate actions
  • Undertake checker role in the KYC/onboarding process and liaise with Compliance team to ensure AML/CFT requirements are adhered to
  • Comply with all procedures and ensure proper documentation
  • Evaluate and streamline existing processes to ensure efficiency and adequate controls
  • Liaise with Finance team on fees chargeable for investors and issuers
  • Liaise with third party vendors in areas relating to custody and secondary market operations
  • Support the implementation of new projects, systems or business initiatives from operational perspective/ system enhancements
  • Prepare data, analysis and reports on periodic basis
  • Other ad-hoc duties/ projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the custody sector in a regulated entity
  • Knowledge of the Securities & Futures Act, its relevant notices and guidelines
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred to liaise with local and international clients.
  • Meticulous personality with a proactive approach to operations and execution.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and improve processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
