Polymer Resources Pte. Ltd. is a fast growing plastic materials group, with operations across six countries.
Due to the recent expansion of our operations, we are seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support the Group’s finance and administration department in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Executing monthly financial closing procedures.
- Ensuring accuracy and currency of financial documentation, encompassing accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
- Collaborating on financial audit readiness and maintaining smooth communication with auditors.
- Initiating and documenting payments, validating records, and facilitating disbursements.
- Establishing and sustaining robust internal controls to safeguard corporate assets and financial information.
- Coordinating with external stakeholders, such as auditors, tax agents, and secretarial services, to ensure compliance and punctual submission of financial records and returns.
- Preparing monthly consolidated management accounts and annual consolidated financial statements for audit purposes.
- Assisting with BEPS 2.0 Pillar Two Tax compliance.
- Liaising with external auditor, external company secretary and external tax adviser.
- Supporting day-to-day finance operations, documents filing and assisting in other ad hoc, general and administrative work.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma / Degree in Accountancy, ISCA, ACCA, or other equivalent professional qualifications
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Meticulous and organized individual with strong accounting and consolidation, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Positive work attitudes and strong initiatives and willingness to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Preferably with at least three years’ working experience in accounting and auditing field
