Job Description
- Attends to the care giving aspects of infants in their health, hygiene and safety needs
- Assists in providing routine care such as bathing, feeding, diapering, toileting, dressing and napping and must be familiar with the steps and procedures in carrying out the routine care
- Assists in planning and organizing developmentally appropriate activities to provide infants with a holistic experiences and opportunities to facilitate children’s exploratory behaviour, thinking and learning
- Assists in providing for indoor and outdoor experiences with a variety of materials and resources that are safe to children to make learning meaningful to them
- Supervises infants at all times
