Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial reporting and annual budgeting of expenses and income for Board and subcommittee meetings
2. Update cashflows regularly to support Treasurer in investment decisions
3. Supervision of Procurement, payments, fixed assets and other related processes of the Finance team
4. Liaising with external and internal auditors and improvement to internal controls
5. Training of staff in usage of accounting system – QuickBooks
6. Ongoing review and update of Operating procedures handbook for Finance
7. Supervision on payroll processing
The Ideal Candidate:
- Accounting or Finance degree (CA/ACCA);
- Knowledge of accounting practices and standards in Singapore
- At least 5 years in similar role
- Able to provide Leadership and oversight to accounting team
- Familiar with MS office tools; Excel, acrobat and other office applications
- Strong IT support and vendor managing skills will be an advantage
- Candidates with prior experience in social service sector and ability to commence work before November will be preferred
