The incumbent is responsible for execution of SIM projects to support the achievement of sales revenue and
PBT targets.
Job Description:
Execute the operational activities of the projects to be within timeframe and resources so as to support the
achievement of the sales and PBT target:
- Resources availability and reliability (e.g., manpower, equipment, etc)
- Manpower capacity, competency and deployment
- Work productivity through effective management (e.g., machine/equipment utilisation rate, time
management, etc)
- Ensure compliance of contract specifications
- Ensure that installation and monitoring works are carried out according to standard methods
- Ensure data collected are valid
- Resolve technical issues when arise
- Coach and guide staff on the job training
- Provide technical feedback and costing information to superiors for scope outside the original
● Lead and execute the project activities within the allocated budget and timeframe:
- Project task breakdown and schedules
- Resources and deployment
- Co-ordinate with sub-contractors
- Monitoring and tracking progress
- Prepare project reports with relevant data collected
- Site visits and meetings
- Resolutions of complaint, issues and feedback
- Provide administrative and logistics supports as well as working closely with relevant departments
● Track and report project progress and work done quantity for claims and invoicing
- Coordinating with supervisors and technicians
- Data management
- Raise and close purchase orders for projects SIM/SII
● Complete the project:
- Reinstatement work areas
- Documentation and archive of work done
- Final work done sign-off (e.g., RFI, transmitter)
Job Requirement:
- Formal education in Engineering or related discipline / Geotechnical Instrumentation and monitoring
- Good knowledge of geotechnical engineering concepts and terms
- Familiar with 5S and safety knowledge
- Knowledge of CAD software and office applications
- Geotechnical Instrumentation for engineers’ certificates & BCSS (compulsory)
