- To provide all riders with a safe and enjoyable environment that is clean, professional and representative of a leading equine facility, schedule permitting
- To handle, train, and school horses/ponies
- To plan and propose riding programs for all age groups and riding levels
- Conduct assessments and grade students appropriately.
- To provide beginner riders with an individual training plan, which may include grooming, saddling, ground control, walking, trotting, and cantering in harmony with the horse
- To ensure any incidents or accidents are attended to as appropriate and promptly reported
- To maintain a high level of safety and care for horses, customers, staff, and other stakeholders
- To be up to date on essential qualifications such as First Aid etc.
- To refer all bookings, customer inquiries and complaints to the Admin Officer
- To provide an accurate count of the number of lessons conducted to the Admin Officer
- To work closely with Admin and Yard Team to achieve all goals & objectives
Requirement:
- BHSI Level 2 or 3 with experience in schooling horses; or
- AHRC/NCAS Level 1 equivalent or above
- Experience and knowledge of the equestrian industry
- Good organizational, motivational and communication skills
- Have good time management knowledge
