Jacobs would like to welcome a Project Engineer to join our Water business in Singapore. You will have unlimited opportunities to work with high-performing teams on multiple water projects across Singapore. Main responsibilities:
- Working together with Project Manager(s) on multiple water projects, mainly water conveyance infrastructure projects, large transmission pipelines, and coastal adaptation studies.
- Proactively lead the permitting/consultation process various statutory authorities and utility agencies.
- Liaise with clients and act as the contact point alongside the Project Manager.
- Co-chair the Client meetings with Project Manager and prepare meeting minutes.
- Carry out hydraulic calculations (stormwater modeling and pressure pipes).
- Occasionally carry out site supervision for site investigation works, pipe laying works as required.
- Involvement in the preparation of tender specifications and other deliverables.
To be a successful candidate you shall possess :
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, from a university recognized by BCA or Singapore PEB.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure works in Singapore. Experience in coastal engineering work will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read engineering drawings; and carry out hydraulic calculations. Stormwater modelling and pressure pipes will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office including MS Project, possess basic navigational skills to use CAD software (Microstation, AutoCAD).
- Self-driven and able to work in a team.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English.
