Job Responsibilities:
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems (cash, card, mobile payments).
- Ensure smooth and efficient handling of sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with inquiries.
- Handle cash responsibly and balance cash drawers at the start and end of each shift.
- Promote and inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter and surrounding areas.
- Monitor stock levels at the cashier station and notify supervisors of replenishment needs.
- Comply with company policies, security measures, and Singapore government regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a customer service role (experience in retail or F&B is a plus).
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and payment methods (training will be provided if necessary).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours.
