Our production facilities are based in Singapore, and we have a robust trading network that spans across Southeast Asia.


Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Business Development Manager to drive our business growth in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. This role will focus primarily on expanding our market presence in Singapore initially, with subsequent efforts in Malaysia and Indonesia. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic sales plans, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive market expansion in Singapore

- Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the region. Use insights to shape sales strategies and product offerings.

- Customer Relationship Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and product lines. Develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.

- Sales Performance Management:

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management. Adjust strategies and tactics as needed to meet sales targets.

- Team Leadership:

Lead and mentor the sales team. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.

- Collaboration:

Work closely with the production, marketing, and finance teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives. Collaborate on product development and promotional activities.

- Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

- Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian market, particularly Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- New product management experience is an advantage.

- Background in food production is an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to travel as needed.
