Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, development and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS and PLC systems on site. Key technology will be Emerson DeltaV, Siemens and Rockwell.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
- Work with automation team to design system architecture, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.
- Support manufacturing operations for day today support for Automation systems.
- Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
- Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations.
- Field commissioning of automation equipment’s.
- System administration and maintenance support.
- Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.
- Interact with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry, with projects or operations.
- Experience in the Designing and commissioning of DeltaV, Siemens or Rockwell system project for GMP manufacturing site.
- Understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
- Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process
- Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies
- Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.
- Good communication and able to work remotely or onsite as required by client.
