Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical Designer to collaborate with architects and engineers, using CAD software to create detailed technical plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical & Electronics / Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design / Computer Science / Software Engineering;
- Has 1-2 years of experience in developing and building 3D models using AutoCAD / AutoDesk;
- Good understanding of scaling and dimensioning;
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and structural design;
- Familiar with project milestones and schedules;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Desired Skill-set
- Familiarity with construction knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to develop CAD drawings using Autodesk system to prepare engineering blueprints based on project design specifications;
- Collaborated with engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of engineering designs; collate the structural cabling layer into the overall master blueprints;
- Ensure compliance with company standard drawing procedures in blueprint review;
- Attend weekly meeting with related project personnel on design updates;
- Coordinated with multiple suppliers to ensure timely delivery of construction materials, minimizing project delays and cost overruns;
- Monitor and support (administrative) the construction progress and address site-related issue.
