Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager – Consumer Products
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our team and drive the growth of our consumer products portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing strategies, an in-depth understanding of P&L management, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the sales and marketing teams, setting goals, providing mentorship, and driving high performance.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth in the consumer products sector.
- Marketing Strategy: Design and implement innovative marketing campaigns to increase product visibility, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- P&L Management: Manage and optimize the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the consumer products portfolio, ensuring financial targets are met, and driving profitability.
- Market Analysis & Consumer Insights: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Product Portfolio Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, from development to market launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with product development, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, pricing strategies, and promotional plans are effectively executed.
- Sales Forecasting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of experience leading sales and marketing teams, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Strong P&L Understanding: In-depth knowledge of Profit & Loss management and financial analysis to drive revenue and profit goals.
- Sales & Marketing Expertise: Strong background in sales strategies, market segmentation, and marketing communications.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to inspire teams and engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree: In Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
