Key Responsibilities:
1.Team Management: Responsible for annual/strategic plan and overall management as well as operations of the department.
2.Daily Bunker Procurement and Sales: Oversee bunker procurement and sales activities, managing operations for vessels across various regions, with a focus on Asian ports.
3.Supply Chain and Trade Cycle Management: Supervise the entire supply chain and trade cycle, including trading, fixture/post-fixture operations, delivery, and payment collection. Monitor and manage credit risk exposure.
4.KPI Management: Take responsibility for achieving monthly and yearly KPIs, ensuring the department meets and exceeds overall targets.
5.Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing and securing new clients. Focus on expanding the client base and driving sales.
6.Market Insight and Strategy: Stay updated on global and regional bunker market trends and regulatory changes. Provide strategic insights and recommendations tailored to market dynamics.
7.Other tasks assigned by the company.
Requirements:
1.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in bunker trading or a related field, with a deep understanding of the bunker procurement and sales process.
2.Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of global and regional bunker markets, including trends, regulations, and credit risk management.
3.Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
4.Languages: Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
5.Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
