Marketing Communication Executive

Traineeship Description :


This position reports to the General Manager and Director and interfaces with organisation sales team & customer service and marketing team. Marketing Executive oversees marketing for businesses & brands and focus on brand awareness. One of the main goal is to expand and maintain a good customer base, focusing on customer retention, brand awareness and satisfaction. Marketing Executive also develops and implements marketing strategies and advertising. Effective marketing involves staying up to date and knowledgeable about new technology and methods of advertising and must also know their customer demographics and target audience, and they must know how to attend to them and deliver the company’s message in the most effective, efficient way possible.



Role :


1. Marcom Executive is responsible for educating the employees (especially sales team); sales team must be trained on the company policies, company strategies & approach, and how the company product and image should be represented.

2. Marcom Executive must be personable and have a great knowledge of advertising and businesses in this field. Typically, interpersonal & presentation skill is important in this aspect.

3. Marcom Executive reaches out to new target market with presentation and brand awareness

4. Marcom Executive reaches out to new target market with presentation and brand awareness

5. Draft up campaign proposals, content creation/marketing collaterals and events’ itinerary



Competencies to learn :


1. Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing strategies, channels, and best practices.

2. Excellent communication and writing skills, creative and resourceful, proactive and good time management

3.Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

4. Experience with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut)



Qualifications :


1. Degree / Polyethnic Diploma / Comms or related course of studies

2. Familiar with MS Office & Social Media Channels

3. Have a flair for writing / design

4. Must have Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

5. Initiative, meticulous, great team player or leader

6. Good organization and planning skills

7. Resourceful, flexible and responsive in dealing with people
