Responsibilities:
- Performing computer simulations-based analysis using commercial FEA software, CFD software or other similar analysis tools.
- Refine simulation models to improve accuracy of predictions. This will involve activities such as refining model inputs (e.g. materials data, machining data), grid sensitivity studies, exploring efficacy of different solvers, etc.
- Participating in technical problem-solving activities with the wider team for issues in product development
- Contributing improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Create new IPs in Singapore in area of expertise.
- Planning your own work and taking responsibility for project delivery.
- Create clear technical reports and presenting to others within the cross-functional team.
- Overseas process development support for short term assignments.
Requirements:
- Masters/PhD in Mechanical or relevant engineering Majors
- FEA software application: ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Fluent, ABAQUS, LS-DYNA, other simulation software
- Prefer to have at least 2 years of relevant working experience in structural, heat transfer or fluid dynamics simulation.
- Good to have knowledge in product design or manufacturing process development.
