Electrical Project Manager
Job description
· Manage overall projects planning, supervise, execute and follow-up on all project actions and schedules.
· Overall management, controlling and monitoring of day-to-day project operations including coordinating activities with sub-contractors and liaise with all party involved in the project.
· Able to provide electrical related technical expertise (design specifications, vendor selection, construction specifications/ requirements, safety requirements etc.) throughout the implementation process.
· Able to schedule, supervise and control sub-contractors/workers to carry out their works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications;
· Able to oversee and resolve overall site issues with site supervisors, sub-contractors, vendors, main contractors and/or related third parties.
· Effectively manage good working relationship with project team, customers, consultants and sub-contractors to facilitate effective co-ordination of work activities;
· To monitor overall of construction / project progress, ensure productivity, legal compliance and all safety precaution till completion of projects;
· Monitor in overall of progress on site and ensure that quality works are carried out in order to meet quality and cost objectives, projects are completed on time, within budget;
· Provide assistance in keeping track of approvals during submission stage so as to ensure compliance with government authorities;
· Liaise closely with project team, sub-contractor & consultants to ensure timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
· Manage projects from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution
· Prepare costing and tender for the project.
· To handle the design, plan, coordinate and direct the Sub-Contractor and ensure Client & regulatory requirements are met.
· Schedule for project activities and inspection, as to ensure that targeted completion dates are met.
· Attend site meetings and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Vendors and relevant authorities on all project related matters.
· Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
· Minimum 3 to 7 years’ experience in Electrical Projects or equivalent.
· At least a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
· Proficient in MS Words & Excel
· Strong analytical, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills, meticulous, organized, multi-tasker, able to work independently and a pro-active team player.
