About Centre for Governance and Sustainability
Founded in 2010, the Centre for Governance and Sustainability (CGS) is housed at the National University of Singapore Business School. We are the go-to hub for corporate sustainability (CS) and corporate governance (CG) insights. Our research pillars are as diverse as they are profound, covering initiatives in sustainability reporting, climate and nature-related reporting, the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index (SGTI), ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) and more.
Our research empowers leaders, organisations and regulators in making informed decisions related to CS and CG. We bridge knowledge with industry needs, enabling organisations in the Asia Pacific (APAC), including ASEAN and Singapore, to go further in their sustainability journeys.
Our flagship initiatives include the Sustainability Reporting Review (SRR), Climate Reporting in ASEAN and Nature-related Reporting in APAC, the Singapore Governance and Transparency Index, and the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS). These initiatives assess and analyse corporate disclosures on the respective stock exchanges. The Singapore Exchange commissioned CGS to conduct the SRR while the ACGS review is an appointment by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
CGS also organises events such as public lectures, industry roundtables and academic conferences on topics related to sustainability and governance. For more information, please visit: https://bschool.nus.edu.sg/cgs/
CGS has multiplied its research efforts over the years and is advancing rapidly in its sustainability and governance endeavours. We are looking for a qualified candidate to be part of the dynamic team of researchers at CGS.
