As part of their business expansion, they are looking for a Sales Development Director - Luxury Automotive to spearhead their sales growth within the region and optimize operations to enhance productivity across their retailer and franchise network.
About the role
Reporting to the MD , your responsibilities would includes
- Provide strategic leadership to the sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement comprehensive market strategies to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create and execute campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Identify and develop new sales channels and partnerships to expand the company’s network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to enter new markets and increase market share.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and franchise partners to ensure alignment with the brand's goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to retailers and franchises to help them achieve their sales targets and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to ensure cohesive and integrated sales efforts.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior sales role within the automotive industry, preferably with a luxury brand.
- Strong understanding of sales operations, retail management, and franchise management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
