Roles & Responsibilities
- Study tender specifications and drawings
- Evaluate tenders and cost estimates
- Sourcing and comparing cost and pricing
- Prepare tender documents, costing, tender evaluation, and contract administration
- Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid
- Responsible for controlling costs, budget management, evaluation of price comparison, and costing summary
- Identify and prepare variation orders (VO), monthly reports for progress payment claims
- Attend tender interviews/meetings and liaise with main contractors, subcontractors and project team
- Attend site show-round to investigate site conditions, engineering and technical matters to achieve higher accuracy in BOQ
- Co-ordinate with clients, quantity surveyors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to clarify technical matters to support/assist tendering process
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Skills & experience required
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Quantity Surveying
- Experience in QS (Electrical) in Construction industry
- Proficient in MS office applications and AutoCad knowledge
- Positive working attitude
- Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, good team player, and able to meet tight deadlines
