Location: Novena Govt Sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and report results following established protocols.
- Receive and sort specimens, assess their suitability for testing, enter data, and reject unsuitable specimens.
- Participate in quality assurance and control programs.
- Assist with phlebotomy for inpatients and train new staff and students.
- Help improve laboratory processes and support the Section Leader with operational and administrative tasks.
- Conduct tests in outpatient clinics and inpatient wards as needed.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Hematology, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
- Candidates with a Diploma in relevant fields may be considered for the Junior Medical Technologist role.
- No prior experience needed, but a strong interest in Hematology laboratories is preferred.
Requirement:
- Able to work 3-rotating-shift work patterns, including staggered and extended working hours, and coverage after hours and on weekends and public holidays to meet the needs of the department and hospital
