Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be joining a dynamic team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy assistants in running daily operations, ensuring safe, accurate efficient and timely distribution of drugs.

Subjected to the interest and qualifications of the candidate, he/she may be considered for an Executive Track to assist in other portfolios of WellAway such as Business Development, Product Design and Marketing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process prescriptions or medication orders
  • Plan, deploy and monitor logistics/delivery services to customers, which includes time and date of pick up and delivery
  • Assist the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in inventory management, such as cycle counts and stock take
  • Handle any e-pharmacy related enquiries via email, messages or phone call
  • Handle other administrative and billing enquiries.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science and/or a Certificate in Pharmacy Technician by Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore
  • Able to work on a shift basis, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
  • 1-2 years of working experience in the healthcare industry (experience in frontline patient interactive roles an advantage)
  • Meticulous and organized
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suites and their advanced features (e.g. Excel Macros)
