What you'll do:
As an IT Business Analyst (Contract), your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of banking information systems. Your responsibilities will include collecting and analysing requirements, constructing work breakdown structures, providing estimations with assistance from technical teams, and guaranteeing quality control post-development. You will also guide User Acceptance Testing with end-users. A significant portion of your role will be centred around data analysis and design, where you will collaborate with multiple data sources on a data warehouse. You will promote innovative ideas within the team, reshape thinking, build consensus, and co-create values by demonstrating enthusiasm for innovation.
- Collect and analyse requirements for software development
- Construct work breakdown structures and provide estimations with assistance from technical teams
- Guarantee quality control post-development and guide User Acceptance Testing with end-users
- Conduct data analysis and design, collaborating with multiple data sources on a data warehouse
- Promote innovative ideas within the team, reshape thinking, build consensus, and co-create values by demonstrating enthusiasm for innovation
- Assist project planning, schedules and milestones in coordination with project teams
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this IT Business Analyst (Contract)position brings a minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience supporting the development of enterprise-wide complex information systems within major organisations. You possess a strong ability to interpret business needs and translate them into requirements. Your knowledge extends to the software development life cycle and software testing life cycle. You have experience in writing test documents and conducting functional tests. Your proficiency in SQL database queries (complex queries) is essential for this role. Lastly, you have considerable experience in working with Microsoft Office tools, JIRA.
