What you'll do:
As a Business Analyst (Capital Markets) [Contract], your role will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive business analysis that provides solutions for business needs. You will be part of a supportive team where you will collaborate with product owners, senior developers, architects, and other BAs to deliver business requirements and improve business processes and systems. Your ability to work closely with stakeholders will be crucial in defining requirements and various artifacts around application development or enhancement. Your expertise will also be required in specifying business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations, and transformations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for functional design and testing of solutions while maintaining and promoting best practices around the bank's data dictionary.
- Deliver comprehensive business analysis to provide solutions for business needs
- Collaborate with the project team including product owner, senior developers, architects, BA’s to deliver business requirements and improve business processes and systems
- Work closely with stakeholders to define requirement and various artifacts around application development or enhancement
- Specify business rules for regulatory reporting, business operations and transformations
- Functional design and testing of solutions
- Maintain and promote best practices around the data dictionary of the bank
- Interact with developers to define implementation specs
- Communicate with other IT teams on Data services
- Assist with the daily operations through scrum, Jira and Kanban techniques
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Business Analyst (Capital Markets) [Contract] role will bring strong communication skills, with the ability to bring consensus on requirements. You will have a strong functional knowledge of financial products and regulatory reporting, with desirable knowledge on MIFID2/SFTR/EMIR or any APAC transaction regulatory reporting principles. Your experience in capital market processes such as pricing, sales/trader workflow will be highly valued. Exposure to microservices based architecture, Kibana, Collibra is a plus. Your problem-solving skills should be strong with an ability to think out of the box. Excellent communication and proven documentation capabilities are essential for this role. You should also be skilled in data analysis using database queries (Sql/Oracle/Sybase), TSQL. A knowledge of FPML & XML/XSLT/XPath would be an added advantage.
