Business Support Executive

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Support Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring smooth operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide business support within the organisation.
  • Assist in general office tasks such maintenance of office supplies, IT equipment and facilities, and any office-related needs.
  • Support administrative task in the human resource functions, which include but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, interview arrangement, etc
  • Support administrative task in the IT functions, which include but not limited to asset management system, sourcing for any office requirements, logging technical support on behalf of the users, etc
  • Maintain and update a library of databases such as HR and IT administration to ensure efficient information management.
  • Conduct desktop research and develop a reference library of processes and/or international resources for traders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication within the office and between departments, ensuring that information flows effectively.
  • Assist in organizing company events, training, or workshops.
  • Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management to support overall business objectives.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in business or related field with local polytechnic.
  • Minimum 1-year proven experience in a similar role. (Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply)
  • Demonstrates positive attitude, resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to self-learn and acquire new skills without much guidance.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Meticulous with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Digitally inclined with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in data visualisation (PowerBI), database tools (MS Access) and website management skills would be advantageous.

This position will commensurate with experience.
