Dulwich College (Singapore) is looking for a SPORTS COMMUNICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR to join its PE Department in January 2025, to coordinate and lead on communication across the College for the Sports programme, including co-curricular (CCA) activities, as part of a large and dynamic department.
Key Responsibilities include the following:
- To ensure that the Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) programme runs smoothly and efficiently, liaising effectively with all areas of the College, and with all relevant stakeholders including teaching and coaching staff, external providers, parents, students and the Learning Beyond the Classroom (LBtC) team;
- To coordinate the signing up process of CCAs with the Sports Administrator and the LBtC teams;
- Ensuring that all elements of communication with regard to sport at Dulwich College (Singapore) is consistent and of the highest standards, in line with established College guidelines;
- To ensure the smooth running of the sports calendar across the College;
- To liaise with the Communications, Marketing and Admissions teams in the College to ensure sport has the clearest pathways for the vast content that needs to be communicated, in line with College policies;
- To ensure that all sports users at the College understand how to use the correct platforms to communicate and ensure all communication is clear, concise, and consistent (My Dulwich, Schools Buddy, SOCS);
- To ensure Dulwich College (Singapore) has the highest presence in the local and international community with regard to celebrating sports participation and promoting the programme in place;
- Review website content to ensure that content is accurate and up-to-date;
- To coordinate all the sports brochures and literature that’s required for sports events at the College;
- To coordinate footage for the College Yearbook;
- To facilitate the smooth implementation of appropriate contracts for our external providers, linking with HR and legal staff at the College;
- To liaise with marketing with regard to all items that are purchased for sport, ensuring that everything adheres to DCI policy;
- To coordinate the running of all College sports events (tours and festivals) ensuring that all communication and organisation is in place for their smooth running;
- Working with the Sports Administrator (Logistics & Operations) to ensure the daily running of fixtures and CCAs is in place and of the highest standards, ensuring that parents are fully aware of expectations with regards to CCAs and fixtures;
- To ensure that Dulwich College (Singapore) has the best reputation for sport in the region in terms of the content and messaging that is delivered to the wider community across all platforms.
All other duties commensurate with the post.
The successful candidate will have:
- A diploma or certificate in business, sports management, administration or a related area would be an advantage.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working in an administrative role which requires a high level of interaction with others; Experience working in a health and fitness environment would be an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, parents, students, and visitors to the College;
- Experience of managing projects, outstanding organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload and be able to multi-task;
- Experience of using computer systems and managing and information management systems, databases;
- Experiene to work independently with minimum supervision; reliable, responsible, detail-oriented and flexible;
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing;
- An understanding of the requirements for handling confidential and sensitive information;
- A motivated self-starter with great initiative and the ability to work well under pressure.
