Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide case work, counselling and trauma-focused therapy
- Provide home based counselling
- Support clients through full spectrum of case management, including regular follow-up and communication
- Complete assessments and reports and any other administrative requirements related to case management
- Lead team and developing trauma-related programmes
- Build good rapport with relevant stakeholders and external agencies in order to mobilise resources to meet client’s needs
- Provide supervision for staff
- Participate in internal research
Requirements
- Degree in psychology/counselling or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience in the social service sector
- Relevant work experience will be considered
- At least 2 years of experience providing clinical supervision
- Familiar with parenting / family issues and care of children with social issues
- Trauma-informed and knowledge of attachment issues will be an advantage
- Good report writing skills
- Bilingual, with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and open to learning
- Responsible, resilient, self-motivated and a team player
- Able to work during weekends and evenings, when required
